“I wish I had this when I started in Reception last year, or had you to speak to so as to gain a really good overview of what an adults role looks like in Reception. I feel I wouldn't have been as overwhelmed with this at the start of my EYFS journey! I appreciated all the links to paperwork as well as the suggested reading lists and resources. The course has helped me to spot what I now need to implement and given me ideas about how to support my staff who are new to early years. Thank you for putting this on, I loved the informal and friendly nature of the sessions. Also the lengths weren't overwhelming as you find in other similar courses. I would absolutely recommend it to any new to reception teacher, with the idea of returning to it regularly throughout the year.”
