You’ve secured the position, you’re ready for the challenge, but there’s often very little guidance on what you should actually be doing before you start. This webinar is designed to give you that clarity. It will walk you through the key areas you need to understand ahead of September so you can feel prepared rather than overwhelmed. We’ll explore what it really means to step into the role, including getting to grips with the EYFS framework, understanding your leadership responsibilities, and beginning to build a clear picture of your team and setting. You’ll also look at how to use data to identify priorities, how to approach baseline and transition with confidence, and how to begin thinking about key systems such as parent communication and team organisation. Everything shared is grounded in real experience and practical strategies. You’ll also be introduced to how implementation can be approached using EEF research, so that any changes you make are purposeful and sustainable.
